The prerequisite for this class is 6 Reformer Pilates Classes at The Pilates Firm. This class is not appropriate if you have balance issues, back or hip pain, or can not stand comfortably on top of a reformer. It may require exercises on the floor. This group class is designed to challenge and refine your Pilates practice. Utilizing the versatile Pilates Stability Chair, this class offers a unique blend of strength, balance, and flexibility training tailored to enhance your core stability and overall muscle tone. In each session, you’ll be guided through exercises targeting the core muscles and the arms, legs, and back, ensuring a full-body workout. The Stability Chair’s compact design and variable resistance settings make it an ideal apparatus for beginners and advanced practitioners. It allows exercises to be modified to suit individual needs and progression levels. Previous Reformer Pilates experience required. Other equipment with the Stability Chair class may be added, including Reformer, tower training, and various weights and accessories. Bare feet or grippy socks. Depending on the exercise, you may be asked to remove socks. Before class, you must communicate with your instructor if you have any injuries or health issues.
