This class is designed to help you build strength and work on the fundamentals of handsprings and ayeshas. Each class will have specific warm-ups and curriculum to get those moves! We will explore all grips (elbow, true, twisted, and cup) and use techniques including conditioning and rubber bands to build the strength to master these moves. Prerequisites: MUST have a solid invert from the ground, butterfly, leg hangs apprentice, and brass monkey (Level 2). Rotating Schedule: WEEK 1: Twisted WEEK 2: True WEEK 3: Elbow WEEK 4: Cup WEEK 5: Alternate grips WEEK 6: Dealer's Choice (mix of deadlift work, phoenix, all grips, instructor choice, etc)
Students MUST ARRIVE TEN MINUTES EARLY. There will be NO LATE ENTRY PERMITTED! If you show up late, you forfeit the class. This is to maintain proper safety measures. Doors are locked at the beginning of class. Please ensure you have read the class description thoroughly and you meet any and all prerequisites required for the class. If you experience any Flu or Cold-like symptoms, DO NOT come to class. Please be safe and respectful for everyone! **We have an 8-hour cancellation policy. Please remove yourself from class if you are unable to attend at least 8 hours prior to class start time. There is a $15 fee for late cancels or no shows. There will be no refunds and/or class credits.** Dress Code Policy: Must be signed PRIOR to class Personal Equipment: Students will be required to bring any personal equipment necessary for class. This includes: Mats, water, and grip aid. Grip aid and mats will not be shared. Grip aid, mats and water are available for purchase in the lobby retail area. Towels: Towels will be provided for each student with each class. Take a new towel for every class. Place your dirty towel in the laundry bin at the end of class.
