This Advanced class is designed to help you master working with aerial hoop/lyra. Classes will focus on drops, rotations, higher flexibility tricks and other skills and continues building your repertoire as the instructor introduces new moves. Classes feature a monthly combination to develop transitions and sequence moves together. Students should be comfortable with movements from the Intermediate class and have an instructor recommendation to advance. Students should have the following: Long hang pull ups Unassisted inverts Skin the Cat to lever (hips away!) Inverted Straddle hold Hands free back balance Single arm hang Working full split and backbend positions
Please make yourself aware of our studio Policies and Procedures Attire: Dress in form fitting workout wear, shorts are best for pole, leggings and covered armpits for aerials. We generally dance barefoot, except for After Dark heels classes. Equipment: If you have your own yoga mat you may bring it, but they are also supplied. Late Cancels/No Shows: We have an 8 hour Cancellation Window in effect. If you do not cancel within our cancellation window, your account allotment/pass will be applied in addition to the No Show/Late Cancel charge. There are no refunds.
