Starting at a young age of 8 years old, Frederick Villaruel developed a strong passion for dance. His excitement for performance sparked when showcasing at his elementary school talent show. Frederick trained, developed and acquired skills from experienced dancers from various universities and dance professionals. To bolster his dance repertoire he’s currently one of the leaders of YYZ Company and actively takes part in the Toronto dance community. He has led his own showcases and along side with his team hosted their own production show. Fredrick’s goal is not to simply teach movement, but to inspire others to grow character through dance. He hopes that his beliefs and wisdom encourages you to develop into a prosperous, humble and caring being. From 2014 to present day, Frederick taught beginner and intermediate level choreography to a wide range of students of various ages (youths-adults). Competed at multiple events with YYZ Company: World Of Dance Toronto (1st Place Champions), Final Stretch, BYOB, R2D Competition (Best male performer). Hosted and produced a production show with YYZ Company: Waves Showcased and performed at events: Fever After Dark, Choreoball, Badassbabes Toronto and Raptors 905. Taught and performed at universities: York University (FSAY Event), Wilfrid Laurier University (Welcome Week), and Ryerson University (Studio2).
