Doug started dancing as part of the University of Delaware ballroom dance team in 2004.  He later taught at Crystal Dansport under Pete Taylor.Doug is a "hard work" dancer; no part of dance comes naturally to him, so he completely understands anyone who struggles with posture, footwork, connection, and musicality.
