Justin MartinFounder, Head Instructor at The Harvest Concept, Business Director at World Han Mu DoJustin Martin is the founder, head instructor, and the steady heartbeat of The Harvest Concept—where martial arts, fitness, tradition, and community come together under one roof. A 5th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor in the Korean martial art of Han Mu Do, Justin holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and is a Level 2 USA Archery Coach. He is also a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), with advanced specializations in youth fitness, kickboxing, HIIT training, and performance coaching.Justin’s martial arts journey began in childhood, but his passion for teaching ignited when he started leading classes as a young adult. Since then, he has spent over 15 years as a full-time instructor and personal trainer in Franklin, Tennessee—devoting his career to helping people of all ages discover strength, discipline, and purpose through movement.At Harvest, Justin teaches Han Mu Do, traditional Korean archery, and fitness classes ranging from AIM Kickboxing to private personal training. He’s also the architect behind many of the school’s programs, including the Black Belt Club, instructor development, and youth enrichment offerings. His philosophy blends traditional martial arts values with modern training methods, all guided by the core mission: to grow strong minds, bodies, and spirits.Beyond the Harvest mat, Justin is the Business Director for the World Han Mu Do Association, where he manages the association’s web presence, digital curriculum, and national outreach efforts. He also sits on the board of the U.S. Han Mu Do Association and works to support fellow school owners and instructors across the country through mentorship, workshops, and professional development.A lifelong learner and advocate for martial arts culture, Justin frequently writes and speaks on topics ranging from Han Mu Do philosophy to martial lineage, Korean culture, and fitness education. He is currently developing a book and planning a research trip to Korea to deepen his studies of traditional martial arts and Korean history.Justin has been married to his wife, Amber Joy, since 2010, and together they are raising two extraordinary kids who share their love of creativity, culture, and community. When he’s not in the dojang, Justin enjoys gardening, sketching, traveling, or cheering on Nashville SC with his family. A firm believer in the “Law of the Harvest,” he lives by the idea that what you sow with intention and care will yield abundance—in life, in training, and in the people you help grow.
