About the Appointment

About the appointment: During an in-office prenatal appointment you will meet privately with an IBCLC in our comfortable lactation room, complete with a sofa and plenty of room for your partner, family or support persons. Consultations last approximately 1-1.5 hours allowing us time to talk about breasfeeding basics, getting off to a good start, discussing any breastfeeding concerns and answering all your breastfeeding questions. This consult is perfect for any expecting mom, from first-time moms to the repeat mom. We will make sure you feel confident and prepared for your breastfeeding journey. *Prenatal Consults also include access to our online breastfeeding class, Mamas Milk Mastery, which will be emailed after completion of your consult.* Booking and Cancellations: You may book in-store appointments 12 hours (or more) in advance, online or over the phone. A credit card is required to hold your appointment and a $100 fee will be charged for no shows or cancellations within 12 hours of your consultation. If you do not find an appointment time that works for you through our online booking or if you are in looking for a same day appointment, please call our store during business hours at (480) 999-1585. We will work with you to find an appointment time! Using insurance for the visit: Your visit may be covered by insurance through The Lactation Network! Use this link to see if you're covered. If you are out of network, we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Most of our clients find that they can be reimbursed for some-if not all- of the appointment after the session.
