In movement therapy sessions we go deeper than yoga. I will ask you many questions and listen intently to the answers. We will look at your walk, your muscles, your posture and more. We will discuss your pain, your daily activities, your goals, your stress and other aspects of your life. If you are dealing with pain in one area of your body we will address the body as a WHOLE to address any weakness, compensation or old trauma, feelings or habits. We start where you are and help you see growth and change immediately, and over time. Breathing and stress is an important component of our sessions so we may spend 10-30 minutes addressing this, depending on your needs. We may also do energy work if you ask for it, need it or are curious. See Reiki appointments for more information on energy work. Your first appointment will take longer (75-90 minutes) and subsequent appointments take 60-75 minutes.
