Music School

Our Junior Musical Preludes builds on the concepts learned in
the Intro MP class - musical terms will be used to describe
elements such as soft & loud, short & long, and more
advanced elements of music such as crescendos & decrescendos
will be explored. A new element to the Junior MP class is the
addition of rhythmic notation: students will learn how to read
& write rhythms using basic musical notation, a fundamental
aspect to learning any musical instrument! The ultimate goal is for
our students to experience the joy of music.

CMC is a neighbourhood music school located in the Parkdale -
High Park area in Toronto, housed in a beautiful, clean and
welcoming century old home on Roncesvalles. We offer music lessons
and courses with over 30 professional and caring teachers on our
faculty, teaching all genres of music for all levels including RCM
and university preparation, from beginners to advanced students,
for children and adults alike.
CMC is run by Lusiana and Wanda, partners in business and life,
who are parents too, and know the challenges and solutions for
learning music in a structured but FUN way.

music education to families, but a place where families can meet
and have coffee while their children are having their lessons, a
place where new friendships are formed, a place where they can give
