Bill Gowans is a jazz pianist with over 13 years of experience teaching and performing professionally. With 25 years of musical studies in private lessons, at Merit School of Music, and at the University of Notre Dame, he has strong skills in theory, technique, reading, improvisation, and transcription. Bill believes that the ultimate goal of studying music should be to enjoy what you are playing and have fun, and that consistent practice will lead you there!
