Thales Diamond Piano Club @ Wake Forest Welcoming all levels, 2nd Grade and up! By offering piano and music lessons in a group format, we not only make these enriching experiences more accessible and affordable but also inspire students to discover new musical interests they may not have explored otherwise. Students are encouraged to embark on their musical journeys without the high costs or scheduling challenges typically associated with private lessons. Best of all, we provide these opportunities right where they attend school, fostering both convenience and a love for music. We strive to create a vibrant learning environment with an intimate setting, enabling us to provide personalized and focused instruction that caters to each student's unique learning style, pace, and approach. We recognize the profound value of music for a child's developing mind. Even if your students are not interested in pursuing piano/music as a long-term activity. As you are already aware, numerous studies have demonstrated the benefits of music and the arts for the developing brain in young children. Music and the arts require both sides of the brain to light up, enhancing creativity and problem-solving skills, which in turn benefit other school subjects and skills essential in every aspect of life. Alongside classroom instruction, we use our online-based curriculum developed by our founder Gerry Diamond, paired with digital MIDI keyboards. Students can engage with various activities, such as our intelligent online tutor, games, and concept assessments, which include keyboard geography, proper hand placement, reading notes on the grand staff, and rhythm training through songs and games. Additionally, we offer essential ear training and movable Do solfege exercises. Each student logs in to their personal account and learns and progresses at their own individual pace, offering levels from beginner to advanced. We connect our digital keyboards to Chromebooks/tablets, which we can supply for each club meeting if the school does not provide them to students.
