 Dr. J. Steven Moore, experience includes:  10 years as a music teacher in elementary, middle, and high schools; 4 years as music director and conductor of the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras serving grades 5-12; 27 years in higher education in music at four major universities; extensive experience as a music camp director; awards including the Kentucky High School Teacher of the Year; administrative experience in curriculum development as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the prestigious Frost School of Music at the University of Miami; and earned degrees in music including Bachelor of Music Education, Masters of Music Education, and Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting. As Owner and Operator, Steven supervises all teaching and is focused on the success and overall experience for students, parents, and clients. Steve serves as conductor and music director for the Naples Concert Band and the SWFL Concert Band. His son, Jameson, and daughter, Lorian were enthusiastic students at a Yamaha Music School in Coral Gables, FL. His wife, Kimberly is Coordinator of Music Therapy and Associate Director of the Bower School of Music at Florida Gulf Coast University.
