Director of Operations | Softball Travel Ball Program DirectorDiamond Club AthleticsGeorge Tellez’s passion for sports began in his youth, playing Pop Warner football and later competing in adult softball for over a decade. In 2017, his journey in youth sports took a meaningful turn when he began coaching his daughter’s softball team. That experience sparked a deeper commitment to athlete development and led to his role as President of the Montclair Golden Girls Softball League, where he focused on building confident, well-rounded athletes both on and off the field.In December 2024, George joined Diamond Club Athletics as Director of Softball Travel Ball Program, where he now oversees a growing travel ball program serving athletes from 8U to 18U. Under his leadership, Diamond Club has also launched a Strength, Conditioning, and Agility Summer Program—a key step toward building a full-scale athlete development academy.George is passionate about mentoring driven athletes and is dedicated to shaping the next generation of competitors through structure, discipline, and a love for the game.
