Bio- Holly has been teaching yoga for the last 8 years and continues to find new ways to connect to herself and others through the practice. She has been an athlete since age 6, playing softball, dance, track, and pole vaulting. She has a passion for movement and sees it as a therapy to oneself. She believes firmly that each time we step on the mat, it can be a new experience, receiving more than we started with. Breath and body awareness is something she speaks to on and off the mat. Class philosophy- Holly practices and teaches several different styles of yoga. She will push you out of your comfort zone, and help you discover news ways to engage and connect to the body and mind. Movement is medicine and it can be a lot of fun. She wants everyone to leave the mat feeling accomplished with deeper connection to the self. What yoga means to me- Yoga has evolved for her overtime. She believes Yoga is a gateway to your higher self/consciousness and should always leave you feeling more at peace within, as well as with the outside world. She teaches that yoga is not just something we do on our mats, but off them as well. It’s how we handle life, treat ourselves and others, and can always become something new. It’s a life long journey of the self, through the self, to the self.
