Margret's journey into the world of Pilates began in 2019 when a friend invited her to join an introductory session. Amidst personal challenges within her family, she found solace and consistency by regularly attending Pilates classes during the September 2019 challenge. It was during this time that Margret developed a deep passion for Pilates, prompting her to explore the possibility of becoming a teacher. However, the unexpected arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted her plans.Undeterred by the circumstances, Margret embarked on her mat teacher training in mid-2020, navigating through various lockdowns along the way. In 2021, she gravitated towards Polestar Pilates Australia, enrolling in the reformer course. Despite facing further interruptions due to early 2022 lockdowns, Margret persevered and pursued comprehensive training on all Pilates equipment. Finally, in March 2023, she proudly graduated as a Studio trained teacher, while simultaneously working towards completing her diploma of Pilates. She is currently a member of the PAA (Pilates Alliance Australasia).March 2023 marked a significant milestone for Margret, as she not only attained her teacher certification but also became the proud owner of Pilates360. As the new owner, she upholds the studio's philosophy and continues to provide exceptional Pilates instruction. Prior to her move to the Pilates industry, Margret worked in the hospitality sector, managing prominent venues such as the Australian Museum in Sydney. Her expertise in the industry earned her recognition, including the prestigious Wine List of the Year award, with one gobbled in 2020 and 2021, as well as two gobbleds in 2022.Margret's journey showcases her resilience, determination, and unwavering dedication to Pilates, as well as her ability to excel in diverse professional environments.
