About the Class

This class follows the original sequence developed by Joseph Pilates, known as the classical repertoire. Moving in a set order from foundational to more advanced exercises, the flow is intentional. Designed to help you learn proper technique and form as well as developing better proprioception of your body. Each movement builds upon the last to create strength, stability, and balance throughout the entire body. Designed to move the body through all planes of motion, the practice builds deep core connection and full-body awareness. While the Reformer is the focus, you’ll also experience key elements of the classical mat work woven in to support and deepen the method. Expect a focused, aligned, and energizing workout that honors the integrity of the original method. Want to learn the foundational moves of Pilates and build from there, this class is for you!
