About the Class

Mat Pilates classes combine contemporary & classical pilates, which may include supine, prone, side lying and standing pilates exercises as well as small props (bands, weights, bars, etc.). Classes are designed to meet the average participant goals and are open for all levels/experience.   The sequence will include weight bearing on the wrists, spine flexion (rounding the back), spine extension (arching the back) and spine rotation (twisting the back). Clients with special conditions that contraindicate these movements should contact the studio in advance to asses/determine modifications and exercise substitutions in advance of attending class.   Equipment required: mat/rug/equivalent that you would like to use for class. Additional equipment that can be incorporated if you have it: resistance bands, fitness barre ball, magic circle, foam roller, weights less than 5 lbs, gliders, we are open to requests! In order to set up your virtual software, please register at https://zoom.us/signup to setup your free account & download the free software on your camera enabled device in advance of the class (it may take several minutes to receive a confirmation email after registration). At a minimum of 5 minutes before the start of the class, please log into your registered zoom account (using your unique email & password) & use the credentials below to join the class virtually: Please have your mat & additional equipment if you have/need it set up in front of your video enabled device & mute your microphone prior to the start of class, unless you have a question to ask. Clients will remain in the waiting room until their registration information (Liability waiver completed, payment provided & class reserved via Wellness Living) is confirmed by the instructor prior to the start of class. Class includes 50 minutes of instruction.

Class schedules and offerings, class sign up, and pricing will continue to be available at http://bodybyblisspilates.com/ and via the Wellness Living free client application. Clients are encouraged to sign up/reserve space in advance and to be mindful of the studio 24-hour cancellation policy.   Each client has an account set up with Wellness Living (studio software) to record client information, passes, and attendance records. Client accounts are created the first time a client registers for a class or session using the email provided by the client.
