Group Lessons

About the Event

Group Lessons is an 8-week session for students five years old and older. To qualify, student must already be water-safe which we define as able to independently and confidently swim-float-swim in the pool and harboring strong problem-solving skills. This requires your child to have finished the “New Student Starter Package” and have a referral from a SwimGuru coach. These classes will be focused on the four strokes of swimming: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke. We will also develop an understanding of how to share a lane and swim laps with others. Groups of four students will be established based on their age and skill level in the water. Each group will have its own personalized goals and benchmarks to strive toward during the 8 weeks. Email grouplessons@swim.guru for interest.
