Mona started teaching fitness classes in her teens and soon unearthed a passion for movement. As such, she took her Yoga Teacher Training shortly after achieving her Degree in Physical Education at McMaster University. Over the years, Mona has added training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Accu-yoga as well Belly Dance and Nia. Pilates is her newest fitness passion and it was this which led her to complete her Pilates Teacher Training in 2017 through Body Harmonics in Toronto. Mona has had her own business as a Natural Health Practitioner for over 30 years, practicing Shiatsu Therapy, Homeopathy, Nutrition and Therapeutic Touch. She has also had the opportunity to combine her love for travel and natural healing by leading wellness and spa retreats worldwide. Loving all things natural and being a keen learner, Mona is passionate about health and wellness and about teaching others to help themselves and to discover what makes them happy.Mona truly believes that keeping the body, mind and spirit in balance changes daily, so having many tools in your tool box is key in undergoing all of life's ups and downs. Mona is very excited to be sharing her passion for Pilates with the students at Sayza Fit, building strength from the inside out. She is looking forward to working with Sarah in her newest venture and being part of the Sayza Fit teaching team.
