I have had the privilege of being in the fitness industry since 2009 as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor certified through the NASM. I came into fitness in my mid-thirties with two little boys I had to raise. Out of shape and deconditioned, I walked into a gym with my friend and a whole new world opened up to me! After six months of hard work, I transformed my body and my mindset. I was hooked on fitness! As a trainer, I am often described as a high energy and positive person who loves to have fun with my clients by telling stories while making them sweat! I will often share my philosophy that movement is medicine and nutrition is healing. The more we move, the better we live, and the better we live the more we come into our full potential as a human being. I love to work efficiently as a trainer and enjoy playing with different fitness formats to keep things fun and engaging. I teach a variety of Boot Camp formats, HIIT, strength training, TRX, Kettle bell, cardio kickboxing, Dynamax medicine ball, Yoga and Barre. My greatest joy and satisfaction is walking side by side with a client on their journey of health and wellness, and watching them grow in their newfound physical abilities, increased energy, and positive outlook with hope that they CAN change. When I’m not training or coaching, I love hanging out with my husband of 27 years and my two teenage sons who are 16 and 18. You’ll also find me in the kitchen experimenting with healthy ingredients to create meals that are nutritious but delicious. We have one life to live so let’s move and eat well together!
