I am Kameko Shibata, an ERY-500 Yoga Teacher,  MA Ayurveda candidate, Ayurvedic practitioner, Massage Therapist, professional aerialist and wild creature. I have been practicing and teaching yoga in the Krishnamacharya tradition of vinyasa krama for 15 years and offering Ayurvedic counseling and massage therapy for 10 years. I bring a truly international approach to my offerings, being of Japanese and European descent, hailing from rural northern California, studying Yoga and Ayurveda in India and Nepal, teaching and practicing extensively in the Bay Area, CA for a decade, I currently reside and teach in Coastal Oaxaca, México.I founded Nadi Girl Ayurveda in 2007, which provides Ayurvedic holistic health services to individuals and groups internationally focusing on women/queer/non binary health. As the Creator/ Director of Yoga-Veda Shala, a 200/ 300 Hour YA Certified Yoga-Ayurveda Teacher Training I have the great pleasure of supporting new teachers on their path. My teachings reflect love, curiosity and dedication to yoga, movement, self-care, activism and the natural world.
