Hi, I'm Kara! I am your practitioner here at Brilliantly Centered.  As a teenager,  I first discovered the incredible potential of life force Qi/Ki energy while practicing Kuk Sol Won, a Korean Martial Arts discipline. This practice taught me how to tap into the transformative life force energy of Chi that flows within all of us. It was an empowering experience to learn how to access and project my own Qi energy. I delved deeper into energy knowledge during my first year of college by taking two Tai Chi courses. Tai Chi taught me how to harness the Qi energy within our bodies to find balance, a skill that still benefits me today. My understanding of energy has grown through yoga practices such as Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Kundalini. Years of meditation have deepened my awareness of how to gather, sense, and direct energy inward. My journey with energy has culminated in learning and practicing Reiki, which has been instrumental in alleviating my daily anxiety and panic attacks, helping me achieve a balanced mind, body, and emotions. I am trained and certified in the Usui/Tibetan Lineage of Reiki at levels I, II, and Master. During my training, I received Angelic and Cosmic Reiki attunements. Therefore, I work with the highest frequencies of love and truth in my energy-healing practice. I am thrilled to incorporate crystal healing into my Reiki treatments. My passion for crystals and minerals dates back to my childhood, which led me to pursue a degree in Geology. After college, I gained valuable insights into the metaphysical properties of crystals while working at a mineral and fossil store. Over the past 25+ years, I have dedicated myself to enhancing my knowledge of crystals and obtained certification as a Crystal and Chakra healer. I am eager to share my expertise in crystals as part of my practice at Brilliantly Centered.I have recently pursued education in sound healing and have been certified as a sound healing practitioner. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and application of this form of vibrational energy medicine. My background as a Certified Special Education teacher and an intuitive empath allows me to deeply understand my clients and create personalized healing journeys for them.  It is my sincere wish and honor to provide Reiki healing treatments and other healing modalities to those in my community and beyond, helping all individuals who seek a more naturally vibrant and Brilliantly Centered life!
