Karen’s path to yoga was in 2012 when her doctor in Oregon advised her to practice yoga in order to reduce stress and manage sciatica pain. Yoga has not only helped to reduce stress and manage the pain, but also opened the gate to a whole new world that led her to research about the meaning of life. Karen learned how to listen to her inner voice and connect with her higher self. On her new journey she was looking for some answers about life, after life, dharma, and more…she decided to search for the answers through Yoga teacher training at Yogawood NJ. Her daily Yoga practice improved her physical health, her ability to focus, and see things clearer. Yoga became a way of life. In 2018 Karen completed 300 hours of Ayurveda consulting training from American institute of vedic studies by Dr. Frawley, which led her to a path of healing work. In 2018 she led couple of healing workshops that combined tools from Yoga and Ayurveda; breath-work, Yoga for osteoporosis, Yoga for stress and insomnia, Yoga and essential oils and more.In 2019 she volunteered as a Yoga instructor at the veterans’ home in Vinland NJ focusing on chair Yoga and guided meditation.Karen decided to share these magical healing tools with the world not only on a physical level, but also on mental, emotional and spiritual level.
