I have always been a very book-oriented person. As a child, I would do anything I could think of to avoid physical activity. Yoga was the first time I enjoyed challenging myself physically. I was amazed to find myself so focused on the present moment that I could quiet my very busy mind. Through yoga, I am learning to become more comfortable with the present moment and in my physical self.I encourage my students to find and follow their breath and to listen to what their bodies need. I ask them to spend an hour in the present moment and to accept and love their bodies as they are.
