You’ll learn to offer support through touch that is: Anatomically informed Respectful of boundaries Empowering, not correcting Grounded in kinesthetic intelligence and proprioception We’ll explore the evolution of assisting from the traditional guru-student model to a more collaborative, trauma-aware, and choice-driven method. This includes current best practices around: Asking for explicit permission to touch Honoring student agency and autonomy Enhancing nervous system regulation through touch Supporting rehabilitative movement through informed assists Whether you’re a yoga teacher, movement guide, or simply curious about the role of touch in learning and healing—this workshop will leave you with new insights and hands-on tools you can apply immediately.
